Fire crews responded to reports of smoke coming from the rear of a commercial woodworking business in the southeast Tuesday night.
At around 8:00 p.m., firefighters had to force their way into the building in the 4600 block of 1st Street and also discovered a delivery van on fire in the loading area.
The building’s sprinkler system slowed the spread of the blaze and crews managed to quickly knock down the rest of it.
A business sharing the same building was also checked for damage and ventilated.
No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
