A funeral has been set for a Calgary woman found dead in a car last week.

According to The Calgary Sun, Lacey Jones-McKnight’s funeral will be held Thursday at 1:00 p.m. at Centre St. Church in the Northeast.

The 20-year-old’s family is asking any donations made in her memory to go to Discovery House Family Violence Prevention Society, an organization aiming to prevent domestic violence.

McKnight’s former boyfriend, Kristopher ‘Tray’ Guenther is charged with second degree murder in her death.

Guenther will make an appearance in court Wednesday after missing his last court date because he was in hospital.
