Fans of the Calgary Hitmen will be seeing pink on Sunday.

The Saddledome ice gets the makeover before the puck drops for the Kelowna Rocket’s game.

Manager of Saddledome Operations Andrew Higgins tells 660News the surface’s new look doesn’t take long to put down.

Higgins says “It’s actually a rather simple process, a half an hour a couple of coats of paint and it’s ready to go for tomorrow.”

The Hitmen Fight Cancer game not only will see the ice change colour, but the players will be wearing pink jerseys in support of the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation Prairies/NWT, as well as Kids Cancer Care Foundation of Alberta.
