Three years after the Calgary murder of a British Columbia gangster, charges have finally been laid.
A Toronto man, Mohammed Parwaz Mali has been charged with first-degree murder.
A warrant is out for another man, 27-year-old Ahmed Zaghlouli.
Along with the murder of 33-year-old David Tajali, the pair is also charged with the attempted murder of Tajali’s brother in a shooting outside a night club along 4th Street SW in September 2009.
Tajali was aligned with a north Vancouver gang and survived a shooting in 2006 and narrowly escaped another shooting a year later.
