The new management team for the XL Foods plant in Brooks will be answering questions Thursday on how they plan to run the facility.

JBS USA came to an agreement to manage the Lakeside plant at the centre of a massive meat recall last week.

Workers returned for training Wednesday, with the plant set to reopen October 29th.

The CFIA has reinstated the company’s operating license, but has said the plant won’t be running full tilt until performance at the facility improves.
