A massive event aimed at empowering youth to become active citizens is taking over the Saddledome.
Over 18,000 students will be attending ‘We Day Alberta’ Wednesday organized by the charity, Free the Children.
Students and educators will be discussing how they can make a difference both locally and globally.
Special guests include Paralympian Rick Hansen, musicians Hedley, actor Martin Sheen, and award winning American journalist Larry King among many others.
Premier Alison Redford is also expected to speak at the event.
