A former court psychiatrist facing sex charges will represent himself after firing his defence team.
Dr. Aubrey Levin is on trial on allegations he sexually assaulted 10 of his male patients since 1999.
The Calgary Sun reports the justice in the case said jurors shouldn’t speculate why the 73-year-old has decided to get rid of his lawyers, and that it’s his decision.
Jurors in Levin’s trial were sent home a week ago when Levin was hospitalized and had to undergo medical treatment, but the trial has since resumed.
