The parents of a man killed after being sucker punched outside a bar two months ago are setting up a foundation in his name.
They hope ‘The Brian Ludwig Foundation’ will keep their son’s memory alive and raise awareness about the severity of the crime that killed him.
The charity will offer a scholarship with proceeds coming from an annual golf tournament.
Ludwig died August 26th from blunt force trauma after being hit from behind outside a southwest Calgary pub.
Police say he had been having an argument earlier with a man over Toronto Blue Jays pitching.
Scott Hooser is charged with manslaughter.
