As Calgary’s mayor marks two years in office, he’s giving an almost perfect grade to city council.
Mayor Naheed Nenshi gives council a grade of A-, saying they are doing a pretty great job.
He feels Calgarians have more confidence in municipal government than ever.
But while council has accomplished a lot, Nenshi tells The Calgary Sun they still have a lot more to do, including building a long term plan for Calgary Transit.
Nenshi defeated Ric McIver, now Alberta Transportation Minister, and former CTV news anchor Barb Higgins for the job in 2010.
