TORONTO, Ont. – A Toronto, Ont., man has been fired for posting an offensive comment on a Facebook memorial page for British Columbia teen Amanda Todd.
He worked at a Mr. Big and Tall store and the company confirmed he’s no longer an employee.
A Calgary, Alta., mother sent the company an e-mail complaining about the online comment suggesting the bullied teen who committed suicide deserved to die.
A company spokesperson told the Toronto Sun they took the action they felt best represented the ethics of their company.
