Calgary police say reports of an attempted child abduction in the northeast on the weekend are not true.
Police were called to Martinvalley Rd. on Sunday around 3 p.m. after three young boys said a man approached one of them and tried to escort the boy into his car.
Investigators say the three boys were actually throwing rocks at the man’s car, and he got out to discuss it with them.
Police are no longer looking for a suspect, but they would still like to speak with the man involved.
