A robbery suspect from the provincial capital might be in our city.

Edmonton Police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating Scott Anthony Letiec, who is wanted for robbery with a firearm and over a dozen firearm related offences.

At 12:30 p.m. Saturday, the suspect at a drinking establishment attempted to rob another patron who was outside having a cigarette.

The suspect allegedly pulled out a large calibre handgun, discharged it, and proceeded to point it at the other man demanding money.

Fortunately, no one was struck when the weapon was discharged.

Letiec is described as Caucasian, approximately 6’1″ tall, weighing 200 lbs, with brown eyes and brown hair.

He was last seen wearing a green hoodie, blue jeans and a black baseball cap.

Letiec should not be approached and is considered armed and dangerous.
