Calgary Police continue to search for a woman after she’s alleged to have stolen a Lincoln Navigator Friday evening.
The suspect led a chase to a southwest parkade around 7:30 p.m.
Duty Inspector Paul Stacey tells 660News, “The woman took off from the traffic unit, so the HAWCS helicopter picked her up, followed her for a time until it went into a covered parkade in the 2100 block of 17th Street, S.W. One of our unmarked units followed the vehicle. Two members challenged the driver while they were on foot; she drove straight at the officers, causing them to scramble out of the way.”
The officer wasn’t injured and they continue to search for her. Stacey notes the suspect is known to police.
