Calgary Transit’s West LRT will now meet its original deadline.
Former Calgary Mayor Dave Bronconnier had originally promised the CTrain service would launch this December, but construction problems pushed that date to March.
Calgary Transit’s union president, Mike Mahar, tells The Calgary Herald good weather and intensive work by contractors got them back on schedule.
An exact date hasn’t been confirmed, but signs are up at the transit garage to organize shifts for a launch on December 10th.
