A Lethbridge man is frustrated police still won’t admit their mistake, after seizing what they thought was a massive amount of pot from his backyard.

Lethbridge police confirm the more than 1,600 plants torn from Ryan Thomas Rockman’s yard were not marijuana.

The Calgary Sun reports they were actually daisies.

Rockman still faces charges of marijuana possession from a small amount of drugs found inside his home.

The 41-year-old says the situation has muddied his name.

Police say they made the best decision with the information they had at the time.

Rockman says the whole situation makes him want to hang his head and cry.
