A man is wanted in connection with the city’s latest murder…
28 year old Philip Salviu Anny was found shot to death on a street in Applewood, in the city’s southeast, early Sunday morning.
Officers responding to the area over reports of gunshots discovered his body in an intersection on Applefield Close around 3:30 a.m.
Police have issued a second-degree murder warrant for 21 year old Deng Lino Keror.
Sgt. Grant Miller tells 660News the suspect has a history of violence with police and is wanted for questioning in a September 27th home invasion.
“We believe that he has a propensity for violence and we are concerned about that, and that’s why we are warning the public.”
Sgt. Miller says they believe the shooting occurred after an argument about drugs, and investigators are searching a nearby van.
Keror is described as Sudanese, 6’2″, 200lbs, with a slim build.
