There are no serious injuries after Calgary fire crews responded to a kitchen fire in the northwest community of Bowness.
Firefighters say crews were called to the 4600 block of 73rd St. N.W. around 6 p.m. Sunday, but the flames had already been put out by the homeowner.
There was damage to the stove and cupboards of the apartment.
One person was treated by EMS for smoke exposure but was allowed to re-enter the home.
