Civic pride and ethnic experiences will be centre stage this weekend with more than 100 events around Alberta.

It’s Alberta Culture Days this weekend.

Many provincially owned historic sites and museums throughout the province will be offering free admission and special programming.

What’s exciting to Culture Minister Heather Klimchuk is the wide variety of things to do….

“It’s just one of those things that brings us all together and that’s the magic about this……you get different people doing different things,” she says. “And plus you’re able to share and do many different activities.”

“What’s cool about Alberta is our community spirit, our provincial pride, our artistic strength and it’s the incredible diversity of all the new families moving from all over the world here,” says Klimchuk.
