Noah’s pudding, a Turkish dessert, was on the menu Wednesday at Calgary Police Headquarters.
Inspector Curtis Olson says they invited the public to try the dish in order to celebrate the city’s diversity.
“The relationships with our community, those connects that we see happening even right now. The understanding of appreciating our differences, understanding them, accepting them; it’s just so important to building a strong community,” says Olson.
Noah’s Pudding is used by the Turkish to foster multi-culturism and is made up of 41 different ingredients.
