Take a historic tour through southwestern Alberta on Highway 3.

Hop on the Cowboy Trail and admire the mountains and continue to the Crowsnest Highway.

Take Highway 3 east and continue to Lundbreck.  Follow signs to Lundbreck Falls and enjoy a hike or a nice picnic.  The Crowsnest River plunges more than 12 metres over the falls to the canyon below.

Head west on Highway 3 and stop into one of the first Crowsnest mining towns.  Take an underground tour in Bellevue and learn about an explosion that killed over 30 miners.  Just across the highway is Hillcrest, where another mining tragedy took place.

For something more upbeat, enjoy a self guided Heritage tour about 10-minutes west to Blairmore.  Make sure to visit the Lethbridge Brewing and Malting Company and snap photos of the Greenhill Hotel or the Blairmore United Church.

Eight minutes west is Coleman, the last major stop before returning home.  Take a hike to Star Creek Falls or hike the Historic Miners Path.
