B2Gold Corp. (TSX:BTO). Miner. Down 37 cents, or 8.75 per cent, at $3.86 on 8,172,059 shares.

Avion Gold Corp. (TSX:AVR). Miner. Up four cents, or 5.48 per cent, at 77 cents on 4,829,737 shares.

Endeavour Mining Corp. (TSX:EDV). Miner. Down two cents, or 0.89 per cent, at $2.23 on 3,935,990 shares.

Kinross Gold Corp. (TSX:K). Miner. Down 37 cents, or 3.66 per cent, at $9.74 on 3,242,876 shares.

Canaccord Financial Inc. (TSX:CF). Down 34 cents, or 5.57 per cent, at $5.76 on 187,793 shares. The financial services firm is closing 16 of its wealth management offices across the country and reducing the number of advisers at the remaining locations in a bid to restructure the money-losing business. The move will cut the number of wealth management offices by half in Canada, however it would not say how many people would be losing their job.

QLT Inc. (TSX:QLT). Pharmaceutical. Up 56 cents, or 7.56 per cent, at $7.97 on 86,541 shares. The company announced the sale of Visudyne, the drug that put the Vancouver-based company on the map, for $112.5 million to Valeant Pharmaceuticals International Inc. (TSX:VRX) (Up 40 cents, or 0.75 per cent, at $53.75 on 508,882 shares) as it continues to narrow its focus to new drug development.
