Reports say a Canadian is among several climbers missing after a deadly avalanche on a mountain in Nepal Sunday.
CNN reports the death toll is climbing as bodies are recovered, with one pilot involved in the rescue mission saying 11 people are dead with as many as 38 missing.
Reports suggest the missing Canadian is a cardiologist from Quebec but foreign affairs in Ottawa has not confirmed that.
Another man from Revelstoke B.C. survived the avalanche on Mount Manaslu.
The Revelstoke Times Review reports Greg Hill wrote on Facebook Sunday morning saying the avalanche swept through camp on the mountain burying many people in their sleeping bags.
He says luckily his team is fine and helped with the rescue but his heart goes out to the others.
