A longtime feud between a southern Alberta landowner and Shell Canada is back in the spotlight after the company applied to build a pipeline near his home.
Mike Judd lives near Beaver Mines and is pushing for a public hearing into the proposal.
Shell spokesman Stephen Doolan tells The Calgary Herald only one person has filed an objection to the pipeline and it’s up to the Energy Resources Conservation Board to decide whether a public forum is necessary.
Judd also took Shell to court back in 2010, when a sour gas facility was built less than two kilometres from where he lives.
