CFL fans in our city have a treat coming their way this weekend as the Grey Cup train makes its way to Calgary.

To mark this year’s 100th edition of the Grey Cup in November, the mission of the Grey Cup 100 Tour is to share the cup with Canadians from coast to coast on a specially retrofitted VIA train.

The train will be on hand for Fan Celebration Saturday from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. at the Anderson Station.

There will be musical entertainment, face painting, a chance for fans to compare their hands and feet with their favourite CFL players and much more.

Fans also have a chance to tour the Grey Cup car, museum car and team car to check out CFL memorabilia from the past and present and get their picture with the Grey Cup.
