Float plane crashes in Quebec with two aboard

FORESTVILLE, Que. – A float plane has crashed in northeastern Quebec with two people aboard.
The accident occurred north of Forestville, on Quebec’s North Shore, near Lake Petit Argent.
The area is isolated and not accessible by car.
Canadian Forces personnel flew into the area and transported the two people aboard the plane to hospital in Baie-Comeau.
A provincial police spokesman says there are no immediate details on the cause of the crash, or on the medical status of the people aboard.
The crash occurred around 1 p.m. this afternoon.
