Five Alberta CEOs will be stranded in the wilderness for a good cause Friday.
The unique fundraiser for The Shock Trauma Air Rescue Society (STARS) will airlift the five men into Kananaskis Country for the second annual ‘CEO Rescue in the Rockies.’
Each person will call out to friends to raise a minimum of $100,000 for a ticket out.
The CEOs will also conquer several challenges while on the mountain.
Matt Brister, CEO of Chinook Energy Inc., says his hope is not only to raise money, but awareness for the valuable service STARS provides to Albertans.
Last year’s event raised $1.38-million.
