A Montreal-based website that has unemployed professors writing papers for students is making academics wince.

The website’s slogan reads “So you can play… while we make your papers go away.”

The organizers of the site justify the service, saying many teachers are struggling to find work and when they do, tenure is hard to get.

Associate Dean of Concordia University Catherine Bolton tells The National Post she’s baffled and is concerned it hinders students’ learning process.

She says plagiarism is still a widespread problem in universities.

A spokesperson for the website that is remaining anonymous says it’s a case of supply and demand.
