Two men are in hospital after being stabbed in the city’s southwest.

Duty Inspector Darren Leggatt says officers were called to the 300 block of Heritage Drive, where they found the injured men.

“It’s not entirely clear whether these people were stabbed inside a residence nearby, or whether it was out on the roadway or at some other location,” he explains.

One of the victims suffered what is being described as serious injuries, but they’re not considered life-threatening.

While charges have yet to be laid, police don’t believe the stabbing was a random attack.
