Ahead of the 2013 Alberta Budget, the province has launched another round of public consultation.

Albertans’ can share their thoughts on everything from how the province should save to covering off the cost of infrastructure projects.

The Associate Minister of Finance Kyle Fawcett tells 660News, in addition to the
on-line input, a series of panel discussions and stakeholder meetings will also be held across the province.

Fawcett says the information will help the goverment as it draws up it’s business and spending plans for the coming year.

He says one question that is not being raised is if taxes should be increased, because the Premier has already rejected tax hikes for the next few years.

Recently it was revealed the goverment’s deficit for the current fiscal year could come in at $ 3 Billion dollars.
