25 years and counting for the Westwinds Music Society.

The not-for-profit organization is hosting its annual open house this Wednesday from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. at William Aberhart High School in the northwest.

Vice-president Christina Holgate tells 660News, what the organization is all about:

“We offer choir, jazz and concert bands for adults. We’re unique in that we offer all levels for people who have never played or sung a note in their life and also for people who have played for awhile and stopped or continued playing” said Holgate.

Holgate adds the 25th anniversary is special because the founders were three people who wanted to find a way for adults to continue to play music.
