The man accused of killing three security guards at the University of Alberta is in court Friday in Edmonton.
Travis Baumgartner faces first degree murder charges in the deaths of three armoured car guards after a robbery and shooting at the university in June.
A fourth guard is still recovering from head wounds.
Baumgartner was arrested a day after the incident at the Canada – U.S. border.
Prosecutors allege $1.9-million remains missing.
