Calgary Police are investigating what might be the city’s eighth homicide after a woman was found dead at a home in the S.E. community of  Dover.

Several neighbours called  911 after hearing multiple gunshots in the 100 block of Dover Meadows Close.

EMS were called to the scene, but told 660News they did not have to transport a body.

One neighbour says he heard three loud gunshots, “just a couple of minutes later, a guy came running out of the alley, came out of the garage I think, screaming about she’s dead, he killed her, I need help.”

Others living in the area say they have always tried to keep their distance from the home, describing what happens inside as “shady” activity.
