The owners of two pitbulls who attacked and killed a small dog over the weekend are now facing seven charges.
Bylaw services’ Greg Steinrath tells 660News officials waited until Tuesday to seize the animals because one of the pitbulls recently had a litter of pups and they needed to be weaned off.
On Saturday, two pitbulls got out of a yard in Forest Lawn and attacked a Shitzu. The dog was so badly injured it was put down.
The charges including having unlicensed animals and having animals running at large.
