The Olympics and Paralympics aren’t the only events showcasing Canadian athletes this summer.
A Canadian-only event is underway in Cape Breton, and it’s limited to athletes 55 years of age and older.
In fact, one competitor at the Canada 55 Plus Games is a young 96 years old.
The four-day event features hockey, curling, shuffleboard, horseshoes, bowling, golf and washer toss.
