Calgary saw another 30 degree high Monday.

For the 4th time this summer, the mercury rose to 29.8 degrees, which rounds up to the 30 degree mark.

The two warmest days this summer were July 9th and August 6th when the city reached 30.1 degrees.

660 meteorologist David Spence says Calgary usually sees about three to five 30 degree days over the summer, “it’s normal for 30 degree temperatures to be reached in August in fact right through to the beginning of September it’s not unusual at all…once we get past the September long weekend though, then it becomes more unusual.”

But he says there aren’t any more 30 degree highs coming anytime soon with a cold front expected by mid week that will keep temperatures well below 30 degrees into the long weekend.
