All three occupants of a northeast home were able to escape a two-alarm house fire late Saturday afternoon.
At around 5:00 p.m. Calgary fire crews responded to reports of smoke coming from the residence in the 400 block of 8th Street.
On arrival, crews reported heavy smoke and some flames from three sides of the building.
A second alarm was called by the captain on scene as a precaution.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
