The province of Alberta has a new fan – Toronto Mayor Rob Ford.

The Mayor’s Office has released an open letter to the residents of the western province, and it is filled with praise.

In the letter Ford invites all Albertans to come to Toronto and stop by City Hall the next time they’re in town.

Ford just returned from a week spent in Alberta on a working vacation.

The mayor took in a couple of CFL games, met with politicians and even spent some time at the West Edmonton Mall.

In the letter Ford added that his family is already planning their next trip out west.
