A retired NHL referee is weighing in on the ongoing dispute between the league and its players.
Kerry Fraser worked in the National Hockey League for decades.
Fraser tells 660News, it’s a shame the dispute has sidetracked recent gains the game has made south of the border.
He says, “The marketing of it, the broadcasting of it, particularly in the United States with NBC Sports Network has achieved all time highs and I hope that the momentum can continue.”
Executives for both the league and its players will be back at the negotiating table on Tuesday.
