Calgary Animal Services is hoping to find many pets a home this weekend.
It’s called the Super Summer Furry Fun Fest and it means adoption fees will be half price.
Animal and Bylaw Services director, Greg Steinraths, tells The Calgary Sun they don’t like to see pets stay in the shelter for too long, and if they have to reduce the cost to help these animals they will.
Included in the adoption fee is the cost of spaying or neutering, a vet check and a six-month license.
The event starts Friday and runs until Sunday at the Animal Services Centre on Portland Street S.E.
