It’s been more than a month since a fire broke out at Shaw’s downtown headquarters, and more than 900 employees are still displaced.
A company spokeswoman said repairs are continuing, and will take a significant amount of time to complete.
She tells the Calgary Herald, only a small group of engineers and technicians are still in the building, the rest have relocated to other Shaw offices in the city.
On July 11th, a transformer exploded on the 13th floor of Shaw Court triggering the sprinkler system.
The impact was far-reaching, affecting Internet service, radio stations, and even access to 9-1-1 service.
