An emergency repair of a water main leak at the Midfield Mobile Home Park in the northeast is leaving some senior residents high and dry.
Eighty-six-year-old Mary Roll has lived in the park for 23 years; she says she was brought bottled drinking water Tuesday and there’s water to flush toilets but that’s it.
A spokesperson from Calgary Housing Company tells The Calgary Sun residents have easy access to non-potable water provided in the park.
But Roll, who uses a walker, says no one has offered to help her get water for washing or cleaning dishes.
The supply was shut off Tuesday so city crews could repair the water main leak in park and is estimated to take four days.
