Hey Mr. Mayor, would you like a ride to city hall?

That was the offer Toronto Mayor Rob Ford got from former journalist Glen Kubish when he spotted the controversial mayor walking down an Edmonton street on Thursday.

Ford had asked directions to Edmonton city hall when Kubish, who had pulled over to shake Ford’s hand and welcome him to the Alberta capital, offered up the ride instead.

Ford is in Alberta on vacation and plans to take in an Eskimos game Friday night, and a Calgary Stampeders game Saturday at McMahon stadium.
