Former Calgary Stampeder Joffrey Reynolds will be back in a Calgary courtroom Thursday morning.

The one-time all-star running back was arrested last month after allegedly breaking into his ex-girlfriend’s downtown apartment and assaulting her.

Just last week, the woman, who says she dated Reynolds for five years and lived with him for three-and-a-half, says she fears he will assault her again and wants a restraining order.

Reynolds was arrested and charged in early July after the Eau Clair area incident, but was granted bail in the case before he was turned over to Canada Border Services.
