Six nights of world-class firework displays are getting set to light up the city sky as part of Globalfest 2012.

The 10th anniversary of the show kicks off Thursday night with a Philippines themed show, the 2011 People’s Choice Award Winner.

Over an 11 day span, six nights of musically choreographed firework shows will burst and crackle from Elliston Park in the southeast.

Each show represents a chosen county with Mexico, China, Brazil, and the U.S.A. in the spotlight.

The gates open at 6:00p.m. each night with plenty of food vendors including a few food trucks inside the park.

If you’re bringing the little ones, the Kiddies Korral will keep them entertained with a bouncy house, family story area, and arts and crafts.

Tickets for each night are $15 and shuttles are being provided to the park from Marlborough Mall.
