An autopsy has been completed on a man who died in Edmonton on Monday, after being shot in a parking lot in the downtown just off Jasper Avenue.

The death has been ruled a homicide.

33-year-old Dale Christopher Maloney died as a result of multiple gunshot wounds.

Edmonton Police believe the victim and the suspect or suspects, did not know each other and an argument broke out shortly before the shooting.

Homicide detectives are continuing to investigate.
