Friends and family are rallying around the survivors of a tragic crash that killed three Calgary-area children.
Their van was hit by a train at an uncontrolled crossing near Broadview, Saskatchewan, at about 7:30 p.m. Thursday.
According to the Calgary Sun, 11 year-old Bailey Morrison and her seven-year-old brother Roy were killed along with a 10 year-old girl from Chestermere.
An 18 year-old woman from Saskatchewan also died.
The driver of the camper van, a 15-year-old boy, is in critical condition.
The mother of two of the children killed, 42-year-old Vicki Morrison, suffered undetermined injuries and is in hospital in Broadview.
The parents of the little girl from Chestermere tell the Calgary Herald, they don’t blame the boy who was driving.
They say he was a good driver, they trusted him and they would still trust him again.
