A Red Deer woman is facing attempted murder charges after allegedly trying to run over her mother with a pickup truck.
Witnesses tell police, 32-year-old Stacey Stewart got into an argument with her mother, 60-year-old Diane Stewart in an alley behind an ATB branch in Red Deer around 8:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Stacey, who is known to police, then got into a Chevy Avalanche, crashed into another vehicle and continued to run-down her mother, sending her to hospital with serious injuries.
The daughter was arrested a short time later near Blackfalds.
