A Calgary man will spend 6 years in jail for shooting a random C-Train rider after being tossed from a downtown bar.
24-year-old David Traynor was sentenced in court Tuesday for shooting Pat Flintoff on March 9th, 2012 while waiting for the LRT. Provincial Court Judge Catherine Skene tells The Calgary Sun Traynor’s conduct warranted a sentence above the five-year minimum because of the seriousness of his attack
Traynor pleaded guilty to four charges in June, including discharging a firearm with intent to wound, maim, or disfigure.
