An accused war criminal living in Calgary is one step closer to being extradited to the United States.
A judge has denied Jorge Sosa’s appeal of an extradition order to keep him in Canada.
Sosa is wanted in the U.S. for allegedly making false immigration statements about his military past.
He’s also wanted in Guatemala where he’s accused of taking part in a village massacre 30-years ago in which 250 men, women, and children were killed.
