Was it an act of peace or hostility?

Depends on who you ask after an Enbridge official was showered with feathers in January at a Northern Gateway Pipeline federal review hearing in Burns Lake, B.C.

The feathers came from the local Wet’suwet’en nation, and according to The Globe and Mail, they say it was meant as a peace offering, but Enbridge did not get the message and filed a complaint with the National Energy Board.

After getting an explanation of what the eagle down represented, Enbridge said in a statement they are pleased to know it was not an act of hostility.
